to snap som photos:)
Aalyvia wanted rainbow finger/toenails for the 1st day of school...
then this is where they start getting cold & are asking for sweatshirts,so i go to open the door & realize we are locked out of the house...AGAIN...this happened last yr. on their 1st day of school too:( & all the other doors were locked so i prayed/begged God to somhow open this door for us then gave River to Dawson to hold & i started wiggling on the latch & pushing on the door @ the same time & lo & behold it opens!...thank-you Jesus! This was truly a miracle because our latch is broke on the outside & once that door is latched it is impossible to open it from the outside, unless of course God works a miracle:) fixing that latch was not on my priority list of things to get done, that has changed after this morning!
& now we are nice & warm...it looks like i told them to stand like that both posing the same way:)...(i didn't)
(& again)...before they get on the bus each morning we say a little prayer asking for God's protection over them that day & that God would open their minds to learning, that it could come easy for them & their hearts to making good friends & that they would have the ability to stand up for what they believe in...
"HERE IT COMES"they both yell as they turn to give me a hug & run for the end of the lane...& for the 1st time in 3yrs i wasn't in tears as i turned to walk back up the lane,i think the 1st yr. for each child is the hardest for me & this yr we didn't have a "1st".....now what to do with the rest of my day??????
After River woke up from his nap we headed to town,i had some books to return & more to pick up at the library, then to my local save n serve to see if i could find that old picture frame i've been wanting, to turn it into a large framed chalkboard...(i found one!)...then to wal-mart to pick up some groceries...now i have 2 little guys sleeping soundly for their afternoon naps & i really need to get some work done!...bye for now.
